Schedule: Every third Saturday of the month

Time: 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM

Duration: 3 consecutive months

Curriculum

Class 1: Foundations

  • Introduction to Ikebana philosophy and history
  • Basic Moribana (flat container) style
  • Essential cutting and placement techniques
  • Understanding line, balance, and space

Class 2: Intermediate Techniques

  • Nageire (tall vase) style arrangements
  • Working with branches and woody materials
  • Color harmony and seasonal themes
  • Advanced kenzan (pin frog) techniques

Class 3: Creative Expression

  • Free-style arrangements
  • Combining learned techniques
  • Developing your personal style
  • Arrangement evaluation and critique
